In 1993 werd “Den Heyberg” ,een voormalige militaire opslagplaats voor munitie van de NAVO, verkocht aan enkele ondernemende inwoners van de gemeente Kevelaer. Deze hebben het ongeveer 400 hectare grote terrein, waarop 325 munitiebunkers waren gelegen, omgebouwd tot een trainingscentrum voor dravers.
